The Events Lead (Part-Time) at JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery assists in executing on-site winery events, ensuring each guest has a seamless and memorable experience. Working closely with the Events Manager and collaborating with hospitality, culinary, and tasting room teams, the role involves event setup, service, coordination, and breakdown while maintaining high brand standards. This part-time position (up to 19 hours per week) is scheduled as needed to cover events and busy weekends, with varying workdays and duties based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tablescapes, décor, signage, and service stations
Support event execution, ensuring timelines and service standards are met
Provide warm, professional guest service throughout events
Assist with food and wine service, including passing trays and maintaining presentation standards
Coordinate with internal teams (culinary, tasting room, operations) to ensure smooth event flow
Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events
Help manage event inventory, including glassware, linens, and supplies
Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve issues to enhance the overall experience

Requirements

Previous events experience in a restaurant, winery or hospitalty environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A polished and professional demeanor
Basic wine knowledge or a willingness to learn
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or ability to obtain)
