The Banquet Server is responsible for assisting with the setup and breakdown of banquet areas, relaying food and beverage orders, maintaining cleanliness and sanitary practices, and anticipating guests' needs to exceed customer service expectations. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, keeping tables clean, and communicating important information about orders and allergies to the appropriate staff. The server must respond urgently to concerns and present a professional appearance. This part-time position is based at Westerfield Club in Tuscaloosa, AL, and is part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area
Relay food and beverage orders (if applicable)
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices, both FOH & BO
Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectation
Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Helping maintain clean and clear tables
Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person (if applicable)
Respond urgently and appropriately with any concerns to the Event Manager
Present in professional appearance and mannerisms

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year in the service industry
Banquet experience preferred
