AV Technician - Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah

The AV Technician at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all in-house audiovisual equipment, including audio, video, lighting, and control systems. They set up and operate AV equipment for hotel events, conferences, and meetings, collaborating with event coordinators and clients to meet specific requirements. The role also involves managing inventory, assisting with budgeting for upgrades, and providing technical support during events to ensure seamless execution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all in-house AV equipment, including but not limited to audio, video, lighting, and control systems.
• Ensure that all AV equipment is in perfect working condition at all times.
• Manage inventory and maintenance records of all AV equipment.
• Assist in the budgeting process for AV equipment upgrades and repairs
• Set up and operate AV equipment for hotel events, conferences, and meetings as required, including microphones, speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards.
• Collaborate with event coordinators and clients to understand and meet specific AV requirements for each event.
• Provide technical support during events, ensuring the seamless execution of AV services.
• Conduct regular system checks and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures.
• Stay current with the latest in AV technology and suggest upgrades to enhance guest experiences.
