As a Casual Conference and Events Assistant, you will support the delivery of conferences, meetings, banquets, and special events at a Hilton hotel. Your day-to-day tasks include preparing event spaces, providing attentive service to guests, serving refreshments, maintaining event standards, and promoting a safe environment. You will work as part of a team to create memorable experiences for guests, with flexibility to choose shifts that suit your availability.

Responsibilities

Prepare event spaces: Set up meeting rooms, conference spaces, and banquet areas according to event requirements, ensuring all layouts and equipment are ready for guests.
Support event delivery: Assist with the smooth running of conferences, meetings, banquets, and special events by providing attentive service and responding to guest needs.
Serve refreshments: Deliver food and beverage service during events, ensuring guests receive prompt, professional, and friendly service throughout.
Maintain event standards: Monitor meeting and event spaces to ensure they remain clean, organised, and presented to the highest standard at all times.
Promote a safe environment: Keep all conference and event areas hazard-free, following health, safety, and operational procedures.
Work as part of a team: Collaborate with colleagues across the hotel to deliver exceptional events and create positive experiences for every guest.

Requirements

Candidates must be available for occasional early morning shifts (starting at 6:00 AM) and late-night shifts (finishing at 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM) as required by operational needs.
