Event Services Manager - Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza

As an Events Manager at the Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza, you will oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, serving as the primary client contact to ensure seamless transitions through pre-event, event, and post-event phases. You will design creative menus and catered events to maximize revenue and elevate guest experiences, while also soliciting new client relationships, developing proposals, and negotiating contracts to grow the events market. Additionally, you will maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business and guide team performance by communicating client requirements and providing feedback and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality events: Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience
• Create exceptional experiences: Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience
• Grow events market segments: Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business
• Cultivate client relationships: Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business
• Guide team performance: Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service
