Food & Beverage Team Leader Event Operations (Part-Time)

This role is responsible for leading event operations at Hilton Sydney, overseeing the setup and pack-down of events, coordinating banquet operations, and ensuring flawless execution of Banquet Event Orders. The Team Leader will manage casual and part-time staff during large-scale events, maintain high standards of presentation and timing, and handle guest issues with professionalism. This is a part-time, on-site position within the Food & Beverage department, focused on delivering exceptional event experiences for corporate clients, weddings, and VIP guests.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of event setup and pack-down procedures
• Knowledge of banquet operations, AV coordination, and room configurations
• Ability to follow BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) accurately
• Attention to detail in timing, presentation, and execution
• RSA Compentancy card
• Team members who take ownership of their section
• Ability to lead casual and part-time staff during large-scale events
• Calm decision-making during high-pressure service periods
• Proactive problem-solving without constant supervision
• Professional presentation and communication
• Ability to anticipate guest needs
• Quick resolution of complaints or service delays
• Confidence dealing with corporate clients, weddings, and VIP guests
