The company is seeking a strategic events leader to join its Global Events team as a Senior Field Marketing Events Manager. The role owns the global industry events strategy end-to-end, building and scaling a worldwide event portfolio across trade shows, regional customer events, executive programs and partner activations in AMER and EMEA. The person sets the vision, prioritization and investment approach, defines measurement frameworks and KPIs, and manages a team of direct reports to execute independently across regions. They partner with senior Sales, Marketing and Product leaders to align events with pipeline and demand-generation priorities, and oversee global event budgets with Finance and Procurement.
Responsibilities
- Own the global industry events strategy end-to-end, setting the vision, prioritization framework, and investment approach for how the company shows up across trade shows, regional customer events, executive programs, and partner activations in AMER and EMEA.
- Manage and develop direct reports: setting goals, providing coaching, and building their capability to own end-to-end execution independently in their respective regions.
- Build and continuously evolve a global event portfolio, ensuring regional programs ladder up to a coherent global strategy and reflect consistent brand standards while adapting to local market needs.
- Define and track the measurement framework for the global industry business, establishing KPIs and reporting standards that allow performance to be compared and optimized across regions.
- Partner with senior industry Sales, Marketing, and Product leaders to align the global events strategy with pipeline and demand-generation priorities.
- Oversee global event budgets, partnering with Finance and Procurement on planning, approvals, and reconciliation, and ensuring regional teams operate within budgetary guardrails.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative performance across the global portfolio, synthesizing insights into recommendations that shape strategy for future cycles.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for senior stakeholders, bringing both global strategic perspective and hands-on executional expertise.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or experiential marketing, including experience leading global or multi-region event portfolios.
- Proven track record building and scaling a global event portfolio and establishing measurement frameworks to track its output and ROI.
- 2+ years of direct people management experience, with demonstrated success developing managers and building team capability for independent execution.
- Proven experience working cross-functionally at a senior level with Marketing, Sales, Field Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors or agencies across multiple regions.
- Strong ability to operate at both strategic and executional altitude - setting global direction while staying close enough to regional execution to guide it effectively.
- Highly organized, with a track record of managing competing regional priorities and shifting requirements at scale.
- A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving in a fast-changing, multi-region environment.
- Ability to travel 30%.
