The Event Planner works collaboratively within the Corporate Event Management team to support the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of internal and external meetings, recognition programs, conferences, leadership events, and executive experiences. Partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization, this role is responsible for managing assigned events from concept through completion, ensuring seamless execution, strong attendee experiences, and alignment with business objectives. This role oversees all aspects of event planning and delivery, including venue sourcing and site selection, vendor and supplier negotiations, contract management, attendee communications, registration management, logistics planning, production coordination, onsite staffing, and post-event reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage event-related contracts in partnership with Procurement, Legal, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with organizational policies and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate travel, lodging, and transportation logistics for event attendees, delivering a seamless and positive guest experience.
  • Plan and manage offsite venues, dining experiences, receptions, and special events, ensuring all arrangements align with event objectives and attendee expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, vendors, suppliers, and internal partners to support successful event outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to eight years of meeting and event planning experience
  • Meeting planner certification (CMP)
  • Ability to travel
