Temporary Event Associate (Shipping/Receiving)

This temporary role supports storage and shipping/receiving operations during the Coaches Open event, August 23-28, 2026. The associate will receive, organize, and move event materials, prepare outgoing shipments, and assist with inventory counts to ensure supplies are available throughout the event. Working on-site in NYC, the role requires dependable, organized individuals who can handle physical tasks and collaborate with event staff to fulfill supply requests efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify deliveries against packing slips.
• Organize, label, and store event materials and inventory in designated areas.
• Prepare and pack outgoing shipments.
• Move, stage, and distribute boxes and supplies to various event locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/work area.
• Assist with inventory counts and tracking of event materials.
• Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques.
• Work closely with event staff to fulfill supply requests in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be available to work onsite in NYC from 9am - 5pm on August 23-28, 2026, and overtime, if needed

Nice to have

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or event logistics experience is preferred but not required.
