Temporary Event Associate (Shipping/Receiving)

This temporary role supports shipping and receiving operations during the Coaches Open event from August 23-28, 2026. The associate will receive, organize, and move event materials, prepare outgoing shipments, and assist with inventory counts. The position requires working onsite in NYC from 9am to 5pm during the event dates, with possible overtime. The role is essential for ensuring accurate inventory and timely distribution of supplies throughout the event.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify deliveries against packing slips.
• Organize, label, and store event materials and inventory in designated areas.
• Prepare and pack outgoing shipments.
• Move, stage, and distribute boxes and supplies to various event locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/work area.
• Assist with inventory counts and tracking of event materials.
• Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques.
• Work closely with event staff to fulfill supply requests in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be available to work onsite in NYC from 9am - 5pm on August 23-28, 2026, and overtime, if needed

Nice to have

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or event logistics experience is preferred but not required.
