The Events Lead is responsible for planning, executing, and improving Woodstock's on-campus marketing activations and athletic event operations at UC Davis. This role combines operations, event execution, marketing, customer engagement, and leadership into one unique position. You will lead Woodstock's presence at UC Davis sporting events, including football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and baseball, handling event setup, booth organization, pizza sampling and sales, and customer engagement. You'll become the primary owner of Woodstock's event program, training future event staff and continually improving how events are executed.
Responsibilities
- The Events Lead is responsible for planning, executing, and improving Woodstock's on-campus marketing activations and athletic event operations.
- This position serves as the primary point of contact for:
- UC Davis Athletic Events
- Campus Marketing Activations
- Community Outreach Events
- Promotional Sampling
- Event Operations
- Lead Woodstock's presence at UC Davis sporting events, including:
- Football
- Men's Basketball
- Women's Basketball
- Men's Soccer
- Women's Soccer
- Women's Volleyball
- Baseball
- Event setup
- Booth organization
- Pizza sampling and sales
- Square POS operation
- Cash handling
- Coupon distribution
- Customer engagement
- Event breakdown
- Equipment organization
- Event recap reporting
- You'll become the primary owner of Woodstock's event program.
- While we have four trained Event Captains who lead football booths and can cover events when needed, the Events Lead is expected to be the primary representative whenever possible.
- You'll also help train future event staff and continually improve how we execute events.
