As a Sales and Events Executive at The National Gallery, you will be responsible for preparing detailed catering quotes and planning a wide variety of events, from intimate gatherings to seasonal receptions. You will generate new business, manage client relationships, and oversee the planning and execution of high-profile events, working closely with the operations and catering teams to ensure seamless execution.

Responsibilities

Responsible for liaising with the gallery
Working closely with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution
Preparing detailed and bespoke catering quotes and planning events
Proactively generate and convert event sales leads, meeting revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and private clients.
Conduct venue show rounds, presentations, and sales pitches.
Work closely with the operations and catering teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
Represent the venue and Searcys at networking events and trade shows.

Requirements

Proven experience in event sales within a high-end venue, hotel, or catering company.
A strong sales mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
A passion for delivering exceptional events and client experiences.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Nice to have

Knowledge of London’s events and hospitality market is an advantage.
