As a Meeting & Events Operations Intern at Zoku Amsterdam, you will be the go-to person for all meetings and events hosted at the hotel. You will coordinate and operate all M&E activities, manage food and beverage orders with the Kitchen and Sidekick teams, and ensure every event is unforgettable. You will support the Meeting & Events Lead in creating memorable corporate gatherings, welcome event hosts, and ensure guests' needs are met. After events, you will analyze feedback to improve offers and processes, and you will engage with guests as the face of Zoku's unique hospitality concept.

Responsibilities

Creating memorable meetings: Picture yourself as the ultimate juggler. Supporting the Meeting & Events Lead, you'll be the muscle behind our epic corporate gatherings. By welcoming the event hosts, you'll ensure every detail is spot-on for a flawless experience.
Be the host: You'll show off your inner barista, beer tapping skills and make sure that our meeting & events guests needs are met during their time with us. After events, you'll analyze feedback to improve our offers and processes.
Connection Connoisseur: With your charm and wit, you'll be the life of the party! Engaging with our Meeting & Events guests, answering their burning questions – you'll be the face of our unique hospitality concept, leaving a lasting impression wherever you go.

Requirements

Love putting a personal touch on their service and go the extra mile to lend a helping hand.
Are genuinely friendly, pro-active and have good communication skills.
Are eager to get the best out of themselves and their peers.
Don’t mind getting their hands dirty every now and then.
Have operational experience and / or previously worked in event management and banqueting.
You are a student at a hospitality university and need to do a mandatory operational/administrative internship (min. 6 months) as part of your curriculum.
You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit the Netherlands.
You are available to start in August 2026 and flexible as there are no fixed working days / hours.
You have practical experience in hospitality.
